Coach Ruben Amorim of Manchester United does not rate Joshua Zirkzee highly and plans to explore other attacking options. Although Zirkzee scored on his debut this season, he failed to add any more goals in the following 14 matches. AC Milan and Juventus are reportedly considering signing him in the January 2025 transfer window, but Zirkzee is likely to be loaned out by MU to gain more experience in Serie A.
MU spent £36 million to sign Zirkzee from Bologna, but coach Erik ten Hag has expressed dissatisfaction with his fitness. MU is now looking at Viktor Gyokeres, a forward from Sporting CP, who recently scored a hat-trick against Man City and has scored 25 goals this season, surpassing even Erling Haaland of Man City. Gyokeres, who previously played in the Championship, is now making a strong impression in Europe.
